Garment Care & Sizes

Cotton

Wash in a washing machine on warm water and dry in a moderate dryer. Dryers tend to wear clothes out, so hanging to dry will extend the life of your garment.  All cotton garments have been preshrunk in a hot washer and a commercial dryer for an hour and a half. The seams are finished to prevent fraying inside or out.

Woolen or wool/silk blend

Wash in a washing machine on delicate and cool and hang to dry.
Woolen and wool blend garments have been washed in a washing machine. Pressing with a moderate iron or blocking (pulling with your hands) while damp from the machine will restore the original rectangular shape of your shawl or ruana.
